As part of its business continuity plan, Sogo Printing has geographically spread its plants throughout Japan and built a supply structure closely rooted in the local community and to respond to risks such as natural disasters.
Redundancy is ensured by installing the same production equipment at all plants and storing printing-related data under tight security in two locations, in the Kanto and Kansai regions. This allows for the data to be transferred immediately to a substitute plant (Sogo Printing Group VPN*; see the diagram below), even if one plant is shut down due to a disaster, enabling us to produce and supply products at the same level of quality at any of our plants.

Companies of the Sogo Printing Group include S.A.P Co., Ltd.—mainly engaged in design, planning, editing, and platemaking for packaging and catalogs—and Technopack Vietnam Co., Ltd., a Vietnam-based company serving customers (cosmetics manufacturers) in Asia. The group’s composition makes it possible to tailor products to individual industries. We have established an integrated manufacturing structure across Group companies to ensure smooth response and collaboration, and are also building an inter-company network.
